Welded mesh
Ribbed steel welded mesh in sheets, for reinforcing slabs, floors and screeds.
Overview
We supply welded mesh for reinforcing concrete elements, in 2 × 6 m sheets, to construction sites, industrial flooring contractors and precast producers.
The mesh is made of ribbed steel wires laid in two directions and welded at every intersection. The regular openings and welds hold the reinforcement in the right position in the formwork, and fixing it is much faster than tying reinforcement bar by bar.
The wire diameter, from Ø4 to Ø10 mm, and the mesh opening, 100, 150 or 200 mm, are chosen to suit the element thickness and the design loads. Quantities and the delivery schedule are agreed at quotation.
