Who we are

What data we process

When you write to us by email, we process:

• your name and email address;
• your phone number and company, if you mention them;
• the content of your message.

Why we process it

We use this data only to reply to your enquiry and to prepare the quotation you asked for. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for marketing and we do not make automated decisions based on it.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and the business relationship that follows from it, and for no more than 3 years after our last correspondence, unless the law requires a longer period.

Who receives the data

Messages reach the company’s email inbox, hosted by our email provider. The website is hosted by a hosting provider, which may process technical data outside the European Economic Area under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on to third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies and technical data

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not build visitor profiles. For security and proper operation, the hosting provider automatically records technical data in server logs, such as the IP address, browser type and the time of access.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access your data and receive a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased or its processing restricted;
• object to the processing;
• receive your data in a portable format.

Complaints

To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@romperstone.ro. If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
