Overview
We supply welded steel tubes, round, square and rectangular, in 6 m lengths, for steel construction, fabrication shops and building services.
Round tube is used mainly for pipework, posts and railings, while square and rectangular tube, with flat faces that are easy to join, is used for steel structures, fences, gates and frames. Their good strength-to-weight ratio makes hollow sections an economical choice for members in bending and compression.
Black tube suits members that are painted or protected afterwards, while galvanised tube, coated with a layer of zinc, resists corrosion better outdoors and in damp environments. Dimensions, wall thickness and quantities are agreed at quotation.
