Overview
Dolomite is a calcium magnesium carbonate rock, sought after wherever magnesium input matters: from steel plants to soil conditioning.
The mineral dolomite, CaMg(CO₃)₂, makes the rock slightly harder and denser than limestone. Its MgO content makes it suitable as a flux and as a raw material for refractory products, while in agriculture it corrects soil acidity and magnesium deficiency at the same time.
Dolomite is supplied crushed and graded or ground, depending on the application.
